‘You greedy b******s, get out of our club’: Jamier Carragher Joins In With Liverpool Fans’ Protest
Many Liverpool supporters walked out of Anfield in the 77th minute of their 2-2 draw against Sunderland to protest the club’s proposed hike in ticket prices.
Liverpool Legend Jamie Carragher showed he is in support of this protest by joining an estimated 10,000 supporters in leaving Anfield in the 77th minute.
And prior to the game on Saturday, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson appeared to support the planned show of discontent from fans by ‘liking’ a tweet explaining the reasoning for the gesture. The ‘like’ has since been removed from his account.
Liverpool were leading Sunderland 2-0 – courtesy of goals from Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana – before thousands left the stadium amid chants of ‘you greedy b******s, enough is enough’.
Reds fans took to social media to share videos of supporters leaving the ground, and the fans received plenty of praise for highlighting the price of tickets.
