Inter director Bedy Moratti has accidentally let slip that “Jose Mourinho is happy, he’s going to Manchester United”.

Inter Milan director Bedy Moratti, sister of president Massimo, has revealed that the former Inter Milan manager will be going to Manchester United, when she was asked if the Portuguese will be considered for a San Siro return.

“No, he’s happy now, he’s going to Manchester,” Moratti said.

“Of course he’s always fantastic and we missed him as a person here.”

Unlike in Italy, there are no rules against Coaches working for two different clubs in the same season.

The Portuguese manager was sacked from his post at Chelsea due to a poor start to the season and is now being linked with an immediate return to management.

Spanish media has claimed that Mourinho to Manchester United is not yet official, but the Portuguese has reached an agreement with the Red Devils.

Louis van Gaal now has just three games to save his job, according to reports, and Ryan Giggs would be in line to take a caretaker role until the end of the season if the Dutchman gets sacked. However, some alternate reports have emerged today, suggesting that the Welshman is now unwilling to take up a temporary job.
