Andreas Pereira Confirms He Will Be At Man United Next Season Amid Exit Links
Manchester United youngster Andreas Pereira is set to remain at the club despite links of a loan exit.
Pereira’s mind is set to fight for his place, rather than dwindling down the days until the next transfer window, according to reports from Sport Witness.
Pereira, 20, has made only nine appearances for the Red Devils this season, and admitted he was frustrated at his lack of game time.
He was linked with a move away from Old Trafford in January, with Leicester, Malaga and PSV all interested in a deal for the under-20 Brazilian international, and the fans were beginning to think of another potential Paul Pogba situation unfolding.
However, his exit was denied by manager Louis van Gaal, as he was not keen to let Pereira leave with the club suffering from a host of injury concerns during the previous window.
The Brazilian’s agent, Leonardo Scheinkman, has ruled out his potential exit as well.
Scheinkman told Sport Witness: “Not that I’m aware of. He wants to stay at Manchester United.”
The Brazilian midfielder signed a contract extension with Manchester United in May 2015, which runs until 2018, with an option to be extended for one year.
