Arsenal Look At Roberto Mancini As Possible Arsene Wenger Replacement

Arsenal are looking at Inter boss Roberto Mancini as a possible replacement for Arsene Wenger, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report suggests that Arsenal could make a move for the Italian manager this summer, to replace the under-performing Arsene Wenger.

Wenger’s Arsenal side are out of the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup, and currently sit 3rd in the Premier League table, 11 points behind league leaders Leicester City.

A majority of the Arsenal fans seem to have already given up hopes of winning the league under Wenger, forcing the Arsenal hierarchy to look for replacements.

One such possible replacement, according to reports, is Roberto Mancini – a man who has proven himself in England, having won the Premier League title with Manchester City in 2012.

However, Wenger still seems to have the backing of his players, with the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Mesut Ozil publicly showing support for their under-fire manager.
