David Beckham To Name His Former Teammate As The Coach Of His Miami Franchise

David Beckham is set to name his former Real Madrid teammate Roberto Carlos as the coach of his Miami based MLS Franchise, according to Spanish paper AS.

Carlos has previously managed teams like Anzhi Makhachkala, along with Turkish sides Sivasspor and Akhisar Belediyespor, and is currently a player manager at the Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos.

David Beckham has reportedly been impressed by Carlos’ management skills, and is set to choose the Brazilian ahead of his Class of ’92 mates Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville.

The report also suggests that the 42-year-old left-back is to remain the coach of Delhi until Beckham’s side gets officially launched.

Beckham and Carlos were teammates at Real Madrid for four years, and currently look set to reunite again in the United States.
