International Break: Daley Blind Picks Up A Knock In Training With Netherlands
Daley Blind has picked up a muscle injury whilst training with the Dutch National Team on Sunday, according to De Telegraaf.
Dutch publication Telegraaf reported that the 26-year-old was forced out of training today, and is a major doubt for Holland’s match against England on Tuesday.
In a 3-2 defeat against France on Friday, Daley Blind took the captain’s armband when Wesley Sneijder went off in the first half after picking up a calf injury.
However, Elko Born, who works for the BBC, has played down the injury by suggesting that the defender will be available for England clash on Tuesday, as nothing is serious.
