Adriano will not take part in Saturday’s El Clasico due to a hamstring injury.
Barcelona, who are ten points ahead of third-placed Real Madrid, will be the hosts for the El Clasico at Camp Nou on Saturday.
However, Barcelona will be without Adriano in their hunt to complete a double over arch-rivals Real Madrid. The Catalan club fired four goals and conceded none against Real Madrid in November’s reverse fixture at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The La Liga table toppers confirmed on Twitter that the 31-year-old would be out of the action for 10 days with a problem in his right hamstring.
Adriano is expected to miss two big upcoming games – against Real Madrid this weekend, and the first leg Champions League quarter-final clash against Atletico Madrid three days later.
Meanwhile, Andres Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets resumed training on Monday, March 28th, despite being unable to play with their national teams during the international break.
