Anthony Martial Talks As If He’s Sure About Ibrahimovic’s Arrival To Man United
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is currently the hottest free agent in the transfer market, following his contract expiry with French champions Paris Saint Germain. The Swedish international now has offers from all around the world on his table, but he looks almost set to join Manchester United.
Amidst all the heavy speculation about Zlatan moving to Manchester, his agent Mino Raiola has stated that it is not necessarily true. Speaking to Expressen, Raiola said: “We have not decided anything yet. I think it will be a surprise in the end. Everyone is harping on about only United, United, United. There are some clubs in England, a few clubs in Europe, clubs outside Europe, but everyone assumes that he must go to Manchester United, but it is not true.”
But, despite Raiola playing coy, major sources from all across Europe have already claimed that the striker’s move to United is a done deal.
For instance, trusted journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed on his official website that Zlatan will indeed be reuniting with Jose Mourinho at the Old Trafford club. Di Marzio stated: “The player’s will from what is being perceived is to try an experience in the Premier League, by rejoining Mourinho at Manchester United.”
Other sources, such as the Portuguese outlet A Bola, are also ‘guaranteeing’ the 34-year-old’s move to the Theatre of Dreams, adding more fuel to the fire.
With reports regarding this star striker becoming a Red Devil looming large, Manchester United’s current star striker Anthony Martial was asked how he feels about the possible arrival of Ibrahimovic. However, the young Frenchman replied as if the deal has already been done, and Zlatan pairing up with him this summer is imminent.
Martial said (translation): ‘If Zlatan should come that would be really good for us; he’s a great attacker and he’s going to bring us his experience.’
Notice how he uses the word ‘va’ – meaning ‘going to’.
