Martin Skrtel, who has fallen down Jurgen Klopp’s pecking order at Anfield, is close to completing a move from Liverpool to Fenerbahce, according to the Turkish club’s president.

The 31-year-old is currently enjoying a break from football after getting knocked out of EURO 2016 at the hands of Germany. However, the defender took some time off to call his soon-to-be former manager a ‘D*ckhead’ during a conversation with a friend, seemingly confirming his departure after his eight years of service of the English club.

According to Liverpool fan site Empire of the Kop, the conversation translates likes this:

The first hashtag from poster pharrelski means “KloppIsAD*ckhead”. #KloppJeKKT is short for KloppJeKokot. Kokot is slang for ‘D*ickhead’, or ‘Dick’. (Essentially very insulting.)

Skrtel replies, claiming “Last hashtag is TOP”, with a load of smiley faces included, before phrarreslki says: “Hope Jurgen won’t see it.”

Unbelievably, Skrtel responds: “Hope he does!”

He later took to Instagram to apologise, but it wasn’t to accept his own mistake, but to divert the blame on a friend.
