Juventus have removed Manchester United transfer target Paul Pogba from the header picture of their official twitter handle.

The stories linking Paul Pogba with a move away from Juventus have single-handedly dominated this summer’s transfer window. The Frenchman has been linked with potential transfers to Real Madrid as well as Manchester United, but it’s the Red Devils who are currently leading the race to re-sign their youth academy graduate.

As per the latest reports by L’Equipe, Pogba is set to make a sensational return to Manchester, for a whopping fee of €120 million.

Amidst such rumours, even a simple act such as Juventus removing the player from their twitter header has sparked a lot of speculation on social media.

The Italian Champions’ new header consists of eight players, whilst also including their new signings Medhi Benatia and Miralem Pjanic. However, Paul Pogba, who is easily their most marketable player at the moment, and certainly one of the biggest fan-favourites, has been left out.

Is there really no apparent reason behind it, or have Juve already begun preparations of a life without their 23-year-old star man? Twitter thinks it’s the latter.
