Clyne Lodges Formal Complaint After His Sex Tape Gets Leaked Online
Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne has called the cops after a sex tape featuring him was leaked online, according to various reports.
The video consists of footage involving the 25-year-old, who is allegedly having sex with a female at his apartment, with another friend being present in the same room.
The sex tape was reportedly shot in 2014, back when Nathaniel Clyne was still a Southampton player. The England international was single at the time this video was recorded, and therefore did nothing wrong.
Further details of the sex tape, the identity of the female, and even the name of the website on which the video was uploaded, remain unclear.
Clyne – who joined Liverpool from Southampton last summer for a fee of £12.5 million – is believed to be devastated after finding out about the leaked video. The defender fears his reputation will be destroyed by the tape.
The player’s representatives have therefore lodged a formal complaint with the Merseyside Police.

A spokeswoman from the police force gave a statement to Mirror Online, which said: “Merseyside Police can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation in relation to this matter.”
A source close to the right-back also talked to the newspaper, and revealed: “It’s been difficult for Nathaniel. He was horrified anyone would set out to stitch him up like this. He felt it was a deliberate effort to ruin his good name and reputation.
“His agents felt he had to go to the police when it became apparent he was being smeared. He’s a young man, devoted to his football career, on playing for Liverpool and England.”
