Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed his desire to play for the Galacticos one day, although he doesn’t want an immediate transfer.

The Gabonese international has been linked with a Real Madrid transfer for the past month. The speculation heated up when it was reported that Pierre promised his late grandfather that he would one day play for Real Madrid.

Pierre has been in sublime form ever since his move from St Etienne. The attacker has scored more than 50 goals in his 94 appearances for his current club. This means that Aubameyang has scored a goal in every other game – pretty impressive from the 27-year-old.

Zidane hasn’t been very active during this summer transfer window. Real Madrid have only completed one transfer during the past month – the re-buying of Alvaro Morata from Juventus.

The Madrid club have been linked with Aubameyang for over a month now, but the BVB man played down speculation in his latest interview with the press.

“The only club to leave Borussia Dortmund for is Real Madrid. But not now,” Pierre explained.

“Sometime I want to play for Real Madrid, which is one of my big goals in my career. But at the moment everything is great.”

In contrast, Borussia Dortmund have been very active in the past month. The Germans have already sold Mats Hummels, IIkay Gundogan, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. It is, therefore, very unlikely that Dortmund will be willing to offload any more of their star players.

Pierre began his career in Milan’s Youth Academy. However, he was loaned out to several clubs, before signing for St Etienne in 2011. The young striker impressed during his time in France, which led to Jurgen Klopp signing him for Borussia Dortmund in 2013.

Aubameyang has since flourished in his role as a striker, although he was deployed as a winger during his early days in Germany. Pierre scored 39 goals for Dortmund last season, from only 46 appearances.
