Manchester City Set To Announce Gabriel Jesus Capture
The Mirror report that Manchester City are soon going to confirm the capture of Brazilian wonder-kid Gabriel Jesus, despite interest from Barcelona and Manchester United.
It is also believed that the 19-year-old has already told his current teammates that he will be joining the Citizens this summer.
Gabriel Jesus stirred up interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona, and Manchester City this summer. The teenager has been widely regarded as the brightest young talent in South America at the moment, with the media already labeling him “the next Neymar.”
Barcelona’s sporting director, Robert Fernandez, was even in Sao Paulo this weekend to try and convince the youngster to join the Catalans so that he could play alongside his nation’s captain, but Gabriel refused the offer.
Manchester City are the favorites to secure Gabriel’s signature, as they have the added advantage of Pep Guardiola as their coach.

Reports claim that both Manchester City and Barcelona submitted £27 million bids for the young starlet, but Gabriel preferred to work with Guardiola instead of joining the Spanish Champions.
Reports from Spain even go as far as saying that if it weren’t for the presence of Guardiola, the Brazilian forward wouldn’t even have considered Manchester City.
A deal between Palmeiras and Manchester City has not yet been finalized, but the youngster has already set his sights on the North England club.
Guardiola will also be looking forward to working with the young attacker, who managed to bag 26 goals in his 67 appearances for Palmeiras – quite impressive for a teenager.
Gabriel is best known for his commanding pace and agility, and he even received praise from Brazil’s Ronaldo – who predicted that the young starlet is destined for greatness in the national team.
The 19-year-old rising talent is currently representing his nation in this year’s Olympic Games, which will take place in Brazil.
