Matteo Darmian And Jose Mourinho Have A ‘Total Breakdown’
Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian is believed to have had a massive fallout with Jose Mourinho, which could ultimately see his departure from the club.
According to Tuttosport, the 26-year-old is soon to leave Old Trafford after having fallen down the ranks in Mourinho’s squad.
Juventus are believed to be interested in Darmian, but they will have to wait until at least the winter transfer window to get him, since the Italian managed to survive the previous summer window.
Darmian is yet to play in a competitive match under Jose Mourinho, as the Special One has opted for Antonio Valencia as his first choice right-back.
The news source reports that Mourinho is already set on selling the Italian in the January transfer window as he is comfortable with Antonio Valencia in the right-back role.
United will be hoping to recoup as much of the initial £12.7 million that they spent on Darmian. However, clubs will already be aware that the Italian is out of favor at Manchester United.

Reports from last month also claim that Mourinho was interested in Monaco full-back Fabinho, who many see as a backup to Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia as well.
Darmian is also able to play in both the left-back and right-back roles, but Mourinho doesn’t seem to be fond of the 26-year-old.
Manchester United have a potential 67 games to play this season, meaning that the possibility of injuries and suspensions is very high.
Jose might want to hold on to the Italian for just the rest of this season, and re-consider his future during the next summer transfer window.
Or, the Special One could opt for Fabinho in the winter and sell Darmian, ending the whole situation.
Darmian joined Manchester United a year ago, and has since made 39 appearances for the Red Devils, but has not yet been used in any of Mourinho’s competitive matches this season.
