Real Madrid Set To Hand Their Star Players New Extravagant Deals

According to England based media outlet the Daily Mirror, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are set to sign new improved deals at Real Madrid.

These four players are among Real’s most important, and are set to be handed their rewards soon.

Former Real Madrid player and current manager Zinedine Zidane has decided to not spend big in the transfer window, and keep faith in the squad which won him the Champions League less than one year after taking on the job of Real Madrid manager.

Ronaldo is expected to sign a four-year deal, with an option for a fifth, worth around £500,000 per week. These are massive wages for someone who is 31 years old.

Ronaldo recently won the European player of the year award, after having an excellent 2015-2016 season with Real Madrid. He won the Champions League, and was also the top scorer of the tournament.

According to the Mirror, Welshman Gareth Bale is also set to receive a new bumper contract which will keep him at the Spanish capital till 2021.

The former most expensive player in the world was instrumental in Real Madrid winning 2 Champions League titles in 3 years, and is set to be rewarded for his efforts.

German midfielder Toni Kroos is set to receive a new contract too. Over the years, Kroos has established himself as one of Madrid’s most important players.

His midfield partner Luka Modric will be given a new contract as well. The Croatian is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, and his impact on the pitch is understood when you look at Madrid’s stats with and without him.

The new deals for the four players will cost Real Madrid £340 million over the next five or six years.
