Real Madrid star James Rodriguez is keen on a move to Manchester United.
According to Spanish newspaper Diario Gol, the attacking midfielder is desperate to leave Los Blancos, and will look to move to the Theatre of Dreams once the January transfer window gets underway.
The paper also claims that Rodriguez has told his agent Jorge Mendes, who also represents United manager Jose Mourinho, to try and convince the Old Trafford hierarchy to splash the cash to sign him.

Rodriguez has fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu under Zinedine Zidane, and has been rumoured with several links away from the club.
He was reportedly house hunting in Manchester this summer, but a real estate company released a statement claiming he was also searching for property in Turin ahead of a potential move to Juventus.

However, no such move materialised, and the Colombian stayed put at Real for the start of the season. Arsenal, among other clubs, showed an interest in Rodriguez as well, but were put off by Real’s £60 million asking price.
United, on the other hand, are not concerned about paying hefty fees for players, having spent a world record £89 million to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus this summer.
However, the question remains as to where Rodriguez would fit in at Old Trafford. The club have an abundance of talent in the 25-year-old’s preferred role, and should he sign for the club, it would certainly put the futures of Juan Mata and Ander Herrera in doubt.
