In the recently concluded transfer window, Manchester United signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Paul Pogba. But the latest reports suggest they’re not done for the season.
According to Calciomercato, the Red Devils are interested in William Carvalho, who recently won the Euros with Portugal.
Carvalho first started playing in the streets of Portugal, and eventually got picked up by Recreios Desportivos de Algueirão.
He joined Sporting Clube de Portugal’s youth system at the age of 13, making his official debut with the first team in 2011 by playing six minutes in a 1–1 away draw against Vitória S.C. He spent the next six months on loan at a third division side.

And having spent one-and-a-half seasons with Cercle Brugge K.S.V in the Belgian Pro league, Carvalho returned to Sporting for the 2013-2014 campaign, and went on to have an excellent season for Sporting, drawing the attention of numerous top European clubs in the process.
However, Carvalho stayed at Sporting Lisbon the following season. He went on to conquer his first club trophy that season, winning the Portuguese Cup by playing for the full 120 minutes in the final against S.C Braga.
