United Prepare For Northampton Clash… In A Carpark

Jose Mourinho and his players have been spotted training in a carpark prior to their EFL Cup clash against Northampton this evening.

Manchester United come into this match having lost their last three matches. Mourinho will be hoping to end the winless streak with a victory over their League One opponents this evening.

The Special One will be doing all he can to pull Manchester United out of this rut, even if it means calling the squad for a spontaneous training session in a carpark.

An eagle-eyed walker spotted the Manchester United squad training in the middle of a carpark in Daventry, just a few miles away from Northampton’s Sixfields Stadium.

The Manchester United squad were seen stretching and conducting some light training, headed by Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United, who were recently revealed as the richest club in England, didn’t look too much out of their comfort zone training in a car-park, although the players are used to state-of-the-art training facilities back in Manchester.

This evening’s fixture will be held at Northampton’s Sixfields Stadium, which has a capacity of only 7,724 – about 10 times less than Old Trafford.

However, the most important issue on Mourinho’s mind will be Manchester United’s winless streak.

Jose Mourinho will be without Luke Shaw today as the England International has sustained a groin injury.

Wayne Rooney is also a doubt for the match after his less than impressive performances during Manchester United’s recent matches.

Many fans have called for Mourinho to drop the skipper, and instead opt for teenage sensation Marcus Rashford to take over the No. 10 role.

Manchester United’s record signing, Paul Pogba, has also come under fire from the fans, due to the French International’s failure to score a goal or provide an assist ever since he re-joined United.

Jose Mourinho will most probably use today’s match to try a few new tactics and players.
