Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been declared fit to play this weekend’s fixture against Leicester City.
Manchester United manager José Mourinho confirmed that Anthony Martial was the only name on the injury list during his pre match press conference.
Mkhitaryan was injured while representing his national team, Armenia against Czech Republic. He played in the Manchester derby but was taken off at half time and he subsequently missed the next three games including the midweek fixture against Northampton.
Mkhitaryan signed for Manchester United on a four-year contract for a transfer fee reported to be around £26m, with the option to extend for a further year.
He arrived as the Bundesliga player of the season, but has failed to enforce his reputation since then.
Mkhitaryan created 82 chances for Dortmund in the league last season, and had 15 assists. He also scored 11 goals for Dortmund as they finished second in the Bundesliga.
However, at Manchester United Mkhitaryan, he is behind Spaniard Juan Mata in the pecking order. Mata was touted to leave the club this summer, but ended up staying.
The Armenian captain started in the Manchester Derby, but was taken off at half time after an extremely underwhelming first half, giving the ball away 12 times.
