Federico Macheda Scores On Watford Trial
Federico Macheda is currently trying to secure himself a contract with Watford, and managed to score during a trial match with the club.
The 25-year-old is looking to return to the Premier League with Watford FC. He played his trial match with Watford’s under-23 side during a friendly against Hull City.

Macheda spent six seasons with Manchester United, and put in a sensational performance during his debut for the club.
He made his debut for the club in 2009, after coming on as a substitute during a match against Aston Villa. United were down 2-1 when Federico was subbed on. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the equalizer in the 80th minute, with Macheda grabbing the winner with an incredible shot on goal.
Since signing for Manchester United in 2008, the Italian has spent six seasons away on loan, before finally leaving the club for Cardiff City in 2014 after failing to break his way into the United first team squad.
He made a total of 35 appearances for Manchester United, scoring only 5 goals.

Throughout his career, Macheda has made a total of 145 appearances and scored 27 goals – not very efficient from the Italian. His stats are the reason not many managers are looking to sign him.
Watford currently sit 11th in the Premier League, having won 2 games, drawn 1, and lost 3. One of their wins include an incredible 3-1 triumph over Manchester United.
