Manchester United Snap Up Ajax Youngster Millen Baars
Ajax prodigy Millen Baars is expected to link up with Manchester United’s Youth Squad in January, as per reports from the Netherlands.
Millen is highly rated in Holland due to his versatility, pace, and agility. He primarily plays on the right-wing, but he is able to play on the left-wing as well as in an attacking midfield position.
The 16-year-old had captained Ajax’s B squad last summer, and his impressive performances have prompted Manchester United to make a move for his signature.
A report from the Ajax Show Time claimed that Millen has signed up with Stellar Group, a management giant which also represents the likes of Gareth Bale.

The report also goes on to state the Millen and his family have already begun looking for a new house in Manchester ahead of his January transfer.
Millen will be eligible to play for Manchester United from January, although his involvement in the first-team may not be as much as some United youngsters are currently experiencing.
Upon Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Manchester United, many fans had expected the Portuguese to put a low priority on youth development, however, it’s clear that the United board instructed the manager to push youth high up on his list of priorities.
Both Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard are good examples of Youth products produced by Manchester United over the past seasons. Timothy Fosu-Mensah is another player who has been enjoying playing time under the new manager.
Before capturing Millen Baars from Ajax, Jose Mourinho was believed to have received two snubs from other youngsters, according to reports from The Sun.
Valencia’s Fran Villalba and Boca Juniors’ Rodrigo Bentancur were believed to have been offered the chance to join Manchester United’s Youth Squad, although Villalba opted to sign a new deal with Valencia, while Bentancur chose a move to Juventus.
