Aubameyang’s Mom: He Always Talked About Real, Not Barca

Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked with Real Madrid for quite a long time.
And amid this speculation, Aubameyang’s mother, Margarita Crespo, has revealed that the striker likes to speak about Real Madrid and not Barcelona. She also spoke about the possibility of a move to Santiago Bernabeu in an interview quoted in AS.
Margarita is confident Aubameyang will be choosing Real Madrid over Barcelona.
“He promised his grandfather that he would play for Real Madrid and since he was a little boy he spoke about Madrid and never about Barcelona,” she said.

Since joining Borussia Dortmund in 2013, Aubameyang has scored 98 goals in 161 games for the German side. He currently has a contract with Dortmund until 2020, but a move to Real Madrid cannot be avoided easily.
“A move to Madrid would be lovely, but at the moment he is doing well at Dortmund and we will have to see what happens. My family have always been Real Madrid and I would like to see him in white,” his mother added.
Dortmund faced Real Madrid in a Champions League match at the Bernabeu on Wednesday, which provided his mother the opportunity to see her son play against his dream club.

It seems like Aubameyang’s dream to play for Real Madrid is a well know story. But at the same time, BVB boss Thomas Tuchel has stated that Dortmund can’t achieve their objectives without their star striker.
“Aubameyang is a great player. He makes the side better, he makes me better and we can’t achieve our objectives without him.”
In addition to that, Tuchel said “He’s a quality player. All players would love to play in the best sides in the world, and one of those clubs is Real Madrid. It’s always a pressure to play at the Santiago Bernabeu and he likes pressure and it often brings the best out in him.”
