Zlatan Ibrahimovic Turning Into A Role Model At Old Trafford
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has certainly put on his scoring boots yet again, and even at the age of 35, he seems to be one player you just cannot afford to leave out of your side.
With his history of winning titles, leading teams to success, and having a devastating impact wherever he went, Zlatan is soon turning into a role model figure for many at Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho has admitted that it has become next to impossible for him to drop Zlatan because of his presence on the pitch and his rich run of scoring 8 goals in his last 8 games.
When asked if it is tough to drop a character like Zlatan and give him a rest, Mourinho answered saying, “Yes, it is.

“But tomorrow is the last effort and then they will have a week without football. And that is a week my players need, especially a guy like Zlatan as a striker. Sometimes in other positions you can hide yourself a little more, protect yourself with experience and with position.”
Zlatan has been United’s top scorer so far with 14 goals, and this has resulted in the Big Swede replacing Wayne Rooney as the main attacking option in the side.
Mourinho and Ibrahimovic shared history six seasons ago, when the two worked together at Inter Milan and helped guide the club to a scudetto title.
Mourinho was also keen to mention how Zlatan has turned into a role model for younger players at the club, and does not allow anything to distract his attention from the game.

Manchester United have finally managed to win back-to-back Premier League matches, last time doing so in September, and Mourinho is confident that his side can continue the form in order to contend for the top spots.
With United being six points outside the Champions League positions, and Mourinho said: “We haven’t arrived yet at half of the race. That’s only on the 31st December.”
Mourinho concluded saying his team have deserve more points, and they will give their all to win the remaining three matches in the last part of the year.
Manchester United face West Brom on Saturday, and Zlatan will certainly be ready to roar again and help his current club shoot up places as soon as possible.
