Martial Opens Up About His Big Problem At Manchester United
After bursting on to the scene under Louis Van Gaal last year, and being termed as the future of Manchester United, Anthony Martial’s United graph has turned into a downward slope under the management of Mourinho.
In the past 6 months, Martial has only managed to make 10 Premier League appearances, in which he has not been able to show us glimpses of last season, and has given a poor outcome of only three assists and one goal.
Mourinho is never one to shy away from making bold and controversial decisions, and he has made it quite evident that he prefers the likes of Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, all of whom have, to be fair, successfully delivered.

When confronted about the situation by SFR Sport, Martial responded by saying: “It’s annoying to be on the bench, it’s truly annoying. But it’s a test you have to overcome and that’s how you progress.”
Manchester United are currently 6th in the league, and have finally found form, winning three consecutive games with Zlatan banging in the goals for the Red Devils.

Mourinho has made it clear that he will not think about a player’s history or reputation when it comes to the team and their performances, by benching club captain Wayne Rooney so often.
However, with Rashford on a poor run of form and Mkhitaryan injured, we hope now is the time this Frenchman gets the game time he deserves, and delivers upto his potential. It’s now or never for young Tony.
