James Rodriguez Posts Cryptic Instagram Picture To Spark Speculation

You get the strong feeling that James Rodriguez’s will he/won’t he switch to Chelsea is definitely going to be the story of the January transfer window.
For the past few weeks, every single move he makes is scrutinised and analysed minutely, just like the incident when he was reportedly spotted collecting British visa.
So when the Colombian posted a photo of himself sitting on a plane with little explanation as to where he was headed, it was only a matter of time before speculations began.
Despite super-agent Jorge Mendes confirming Rodriguez will not leave Real Madrid in January, there are still rumours going around over a potential move to Chelsea. But the Blues still face stiff competition, with Inter, Man United and Bayern Munich also keeping tabs on the 25-year-old.
One theory was that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, a long time target for Madrid, will be offered in exchange, so as to sweeten the deal. But latest reports claim Chelsea have pull out of the race due to the huge asking price.
Rodriguez’s time at the Bernabeu has been brilliant if you consider the silverwares, with the midfielder winning one Champions League medal, two UEFA Super Cups and a further two Club World Cups.
But the player has only started four times in La Liga this season, as Zinedine Zidane often chooses between Marco Asensio, Isco and Lucas Vazquez if one of Gareth Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo are missing.
