Despite the ongoing speculation regarding Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann being linked with a move to Old Trafford, Jose Mourinho is keen to add further firepower to his side in the form of Kasper Dolberg, according to the Manchester Evening News.

According to the report, Griezmann is the No.1 target for the Red Devils, but the management is still looking for younger options in the form of Dolberg.
In his first senior league campaign, Dolberg has shone for Ajax. He has scored 8 league goals in 16 appearances, including a hat-trick against NEC Nijmegen in 18 minutes. The Dane became the youngest non-Dutch player to score a hat-trick for Ajax.
He was discovered by the same scout who discovered stars like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Christian Eriksen – John Steen Olsen.

Manchester United now seem to have found the perfect rhythm and structure, and are currently unbeaten in 10 matches. After struggling to replicate the quality they had under Sir Alex Ferguson, manager Jose Mourinho seems to have put them on the right path.

Jose has repeatedly said that he is looking to build a team for the long term, and this interest in Dolberg, along with the presence of youngsters like Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in the side, could be a sign of just that. And with Zlatan, Rooney, and probably Griezmann acting as mentors, Old Trafford could once again be the breeding ground for young stars.
