Mourinho Confirms Ashley Young Could Leave
Jose Mourinho has confirmed Ashley Young is on the brink of Manchester United exit in the next 48 hours, as the Englishman is desperate for a January deadline day move.
The Portuguese boss still needs Young, but is not sure about his future as five clubs have already shown their interest to sign him.
The Englishman is looking for more game time, but Mourinho plans to use him only if he rotates the squad, whereas Young desperately needs regular first-team action.

This season, Manchester United are competing in four different tournaments, and Young has a chance to pick up minutes as Mourinho has already admitted his fixture congestion fears.
It’s a fact that Young won’t receive the opportunity to start each week, and if he’s frustrated warming the bench, you can’t blame him for demanding a transfer request.
Over the past few weeks, Wayne Rooney’s exit rumours have grabbed the headlines, and when Jose Mourinho was questioned about the speculations following Manchester United’s 4-0 win against Wigan in the FA Cup, he straightaway changed the subject and revealed that only one United squad member is keen to leave in the next couple of days – Ashley Young.
A stunning bid from the Chinese Super League club Shandong Luneng is reported to be on the table, but according to the Daily Mail, Young would rather prefer a loan switch in the Premier League.

West Ham, West Brom, Watford, Crystal Palace and Swansea City are all believed to be keeping a close eye on Young’s current situation.
The veteran Englishman’s current contract with United runs until 2018, but with just six starts to his name this term, he now believes his future lies elsewhere.
