Reports: Man United Agree Deal In Principle With Griezmann
Manchester United already have an agreement in principle with their No1 summer target Antoine Griezmann to join the club, as per reports in France.
Although United haven’t yet strike a deal with Griezmann, it is believed Atletico Madrid attacker is ready to make a move to Old Trafford and the basic details of the contract worth around £15 million a year has been talked about. Canal Plus, a French TV station is strongly recommending this latest development.

But Enrique Cerezo, the Atletico president, has always claimed they will fight tooth and nail to turn down any offer for Griezmann after recently admitting that United were one of several clubs keen to sign the France international.
Griezmann’s contract includes a £85 million release clause which, if triggered anyway, will force Atletico to let go their most prized asset.

The La Liga hotshot, who is most probably to be handed the No. 7 shirt if he finally joins United, has a close friendship with United midfielder Paul Pogba and this could potentially prove an influential factor in the club’s efforts to tempt the 25-year-old, as per Yahoo Sport in France.
Griezmann, meanwhile, scored Atletico’s only goal in their 1-2 defeat to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday night.
Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has already hinted that he will not stand in Griezmann’s way if he wants to leave and Jose Mourinho, keen to add more cutting edge upfront, could seal the deal at the end of this season should Atletico decides to do business.
With Simeone leaving the La Liga side in the summer increasingly becoming a strong possibility after he took the unexpected step last September to shorten his contract with the Madrid club by two years, one strong barrier to Griezmann’s exit is said to be removed.
