Barcelona To Persuade Real Madrid’s Isco To Join Them On A Free Transfer
Barcelona are reportedly looking to persuade Isco to join them on a free transfer in 2018, according to Goal.
The Catalan giants seem to be heavily interested in signing the Real Madrid playmaker, who at the moment, continues to find himself out of Zinedine Zidane’s favour. Despite performing impressively in the limited opportunities he has received, Isco has still failed to force his way into the starting lineup.
The Spaniard has therefore, grown frustrated with life at the Santiago Bernabeu, and is all set to leave the club at the end of the season if his game time does not improve.
He has refused to commit his future with Real Madrid, and amid a strong interest from Barcelona, the midfielder could end up making a controversial switch to Los Blancos’ biggest rivals sooner rather than later.
However, as per reports, Barcelona would prefer Isco to join them in the summer of 2018 instead of at the end of the current season.

The Camp Nou-based giants are in the process of persuading the 24-year-old to not extend his current contract at the Spanish capital, and end up making the move as a free agent once his Real Madrid deal expires.
Current Barca boss Luis Enrique, who also left Real Madrid for Barcelona as a free agent in 1996, seems to have already contacted Isco in order to convince him to do so. The Catalans remain huge fans of the Spanish international, and many players and officials at the club believe the former Malaga man to be the perfect successor of Andres Iniesta in Barca’s midfield.
Amid this speculation surrounding Isco’s future, Zidane continues to feign ignorance, and persists on claiming that he isn’t aware how things will turn out in the upcoming summer.
