By scoring the 94th minute equalizer against Stoke City earlier this year, current Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney finally surpassed Sir Bobby Charlton’s club record of 249 goals that stood for over 40 years.
However, Rooney’s goal scoring milestone has been overshadowed by the exceptional form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in recent months.
