Arsenal Join Chelsea And Spurs In Race To Sign Everton’s Ross Barkley

Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign Everton’s Ross Barkley, competing with Tottenham and Chelsea for his signature this summer.
The 23-year-old midfielder has notched five goals and provided as many as seven assists in 30 appearances across all competitions so far this term, as he has become a more than useful part of Ronald Koeman’s team.
However, now The Mirror claim since the manager has confirmed last week that the Englishman would be sold if he doesn’t sign a new contract with the Toffees, it seems as though he’s attracting further attention.
The report further states Arsenal are ready to join Tottenham and Chelsea in the hunt for Burkley’s signature, with the midfielder having just a year left on his current deal as of this summer have stalled on signing a new contract.

Meanwhile, it’s believed any suitors likely to be able to tempt him away for £10m-plus at the end of the campaign. But Everton still keen to avoid losing him for next to nothing in 15 months time.
Despite coming through the ranks at Everton and cementing his place as an important part of their team, it appears as though Barkley’s relationship with Koeman has added growing tension to his current situation at Goodison Park and forced to a standoff in contract negotiations.
The current scenario has alerted three of the top clubs in the Premier League, and it remains to be seen if the solution can be found so that Barkley can commit his future to Everton or if he is on the brink of a fresh challenge elsewhere in the English top flight next season.
