Manchester United Make Premier League Record With Win Over Middlesbrough
A Sunday encounter between Manchester United and Middlesbrough saw the Red Devils win 3-1 as the away side and in doing so create history as they reached 600 wins in the Premier League, the first team to achieve this remarkable feat.
Marouane Fellaini, Jesse Lingard and Antonio Valencia were on the scoresheet on this historic day as they climbed up to fifth spot on the table and provided Mourinho with his 14th win this season.
The club have been outright dominators of the league for long periods of time over the years by winning the Premier league title 13 times and the crown a total of 20 times.
Much credit goes to Sir Alex Ferguson for managing 528 wins out of them, while LVG, David Moyes and Ryan Giggs all chipped in with contributions as coaches to reach this landmark.

However, United have to win at least 5 more matches to reach 19 wins for the season in order to avoid an all time low, while 28 victories has been the highest number they’ve achieved in their glory years. The team are unbeaten in the league since 23rd October and this consistent impressive run is finally seeing them creep up towards the champions league qualifying spots for next season.
600 wins is an unmatchable achievement and one would have placed their bets on United doing it first and they did not disappoint.
Manchester United have had immense success in their days gone by and if they’re willing to recreate the same, 600 is just a start they’ll have to build on for a while to come and do so fast.
