Barcelona superstar Neymar has indirectly expressed his desire to play under the likes of Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola one day.

The 25-year-old sensation, who has been on the radar of a few English powerhouses ever since his days with Brazilian outfit Santos, reportedly rejected all the advances from the Premier League when he decided to sign for Barcelona back in 2013.

However, the star forward continues to get linked with a big-money move to England, and amid all the speculation surrounding his future with the Catalan giants, Neymar has added fuel to fire by speaking about how interesting he finds the Premier League, and how he would one day like to play under some of the top-class coaches that currently work in this decorated competition.

Neymar told SunSport: “The Premier League is a championship that amazes me. I like the playing style and the teams. And who knows, someday, I would like to play at it, yes.

“I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool — these are the teams that are always there fighting. And then you have high-level coaches like Mourinho and Guardiola. These are coaches with whom any player would like to work.”

He also spoke about the unpredictable nature of this decorated competition by stating: “In the Premier League you never know who is going to win or who will be champions, it is always a surprise. Leicester are very good.

“They had a great season last year, they were Prem champions and therefore we need to respect them if we draw them in the Champions League.”

These comments by the Brazil International would surely alert the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, as well as Manchester United – all of which are rumoured to be interested in securing the forward’s services.
