Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is now taking big steps towards improving his squad this summer and is linked with a move for two exciting stars at the end of the season.

The manager is desperate for additions at both ends of the field and has been extensively scouting some top names recently. And one name that is doing the rounds recently is Michael Keane.

Michael Keane has been in superb form this season in the domestic league in the country. He started his youth career at Manchester United but made just one senior appearance before moving out on loan for a number of years.

He finally settled at the Turf Moor at the start of the previous season and has cemented a place in the first team under Sean Dyche, making 87 appearances in this time. His form this season has seen Gareth Southgate include him in the national set up and at just 24, he is a superb option for Liverpool.

Leicester City and Manchester City are interested in the defender with Everton reportedly leading the race but according to reports from the Daily Mail, Jurgen Klopp has joined the race for his signature.

Having played at Old Trafford previously, Keane will not get a great welcome at Anfield but if he decides that he wants to work hard for a first team place under Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool should surely do everything they can to land him this summer.

At his age, he is only going to get better and Liverpool should consider him and all his experience in the league in the transfer window this summer.
