Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj has spoken about his future and reveals he does not know where he will be playing next season.

The 22-year old was touted as one of the most exciting stars in world football not so long ago but he has not been able to break into the first team at Old Trafford in the last couple of season.

He is currently on loan at the Stadium of Light, working under former Manchester United boss David Moyes but he has not been able to impress his parent club with his performances at Sunderland. Januzaj has just one goal to his name this season for the Black Cats and it will not be easy for him to earn a place back at Old Trafford this summer.

The likes of Jesse Lingard, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have all played on the wing for United this season and Januzaj will have to turn his season around quickly to earn the trust of Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

He has now shown any consistency this season and speaking to the Sunderland Echo recently, he revealed that he does not know where he will play after the end of his loan spell at the Stadium of Light.

“It has been very difficult because it is not easy to go from Man United to Sunderland,” he told the Sunderland Echo.

“I had to just do it, I will learn from it because I am 22. People think I am 26 or 27, I am only 22. I know people want more from me,’ he added.

However, he went on to say that he has learned a fair bit in his time under David Moyes and that he will start the next season stronger than before.

“The other side of it is that they have to look at other parts of my game. I have learned a lot here and it will make me stronger,’ he said.

“I don’t know where I will be. I feel much fitter and I am happy and we will see what happens,’ Januzaj added.
