Manchester United are closing in on the signing of former PSG starlet Aliou Traore.

The Red Devils have one of the strongest squads in Europe, and Jose Mourinho will be relatively happy with the way things have gone in recent times. But he is also keeping an eye on young talent in Europe, and is now on the cusp of signing 16-year-old Aliou Traore for a move this summer.

The French-born footballer is currently one of the most exciting teenagers in France, and is touted as the skipper for the side in the future.

The youngster left the academy in Paris last year in a shock move, and has already been at Old Trafford for a trial, where he has impressed the manager.

Traore was a part of the squad that thumped Burnley 7-0 in February, and he was also on the scoresheet in that game.

At his age, he is still learning the game every time he comes onto the field, but Jose Mourinho is convinced that he is a star for the future, and is ready to get him to Old Trafford in summer.

Though an official statement is yet to be released, it is understood that Manchester United are confident of getting the deal done. He is expected to join the academy at the club in the summer, where Mourinho can keep a close eye on him.

Traore has also attracted interest from the likes of Manchester City and Juventus recently, but United have stolen ahead in the race for his signature.

Do you think Aliou Traore is a star for the future?
