Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez has been contacted by Jose Mourinho to discuss the possibility of a potential move to Manchester United.

Sanchez’s contract rebel is known to everyone, as he has been quite reluctant to sign a new deal, with his current contract expiring at the end of next season. This has made the Chilean one of the hottest properties in the upcoming market.

And now, Chile’s ‘El Show de Prensafutbol’ has stated that the 28-year-old attacker received a phone call from Jose Mourinho, and was also contacted by Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola to canvass a move in the summer transfer window.

Furthermore, Chelsea have made the former Barcelona man a top priority as well, and now, it will be interesting to see where he ends up next season.

Arsenal manager, however, has said that Sanchez still has one year left on his contract and will not leave the club before it expires.

‘He has a one and a half year contract,’ said Arsene Wenger. ‘I don’t see what suddenly that debate is about.

‘We are professional football people, our job is to perform as long as we are somewhere. When I sign a contract, I commit until the last day of my contract. That is what it is to be professional. I don’t understand this anxiety, one and a half years before the end of a contract. It’s absolutely denying what a professional guy is about.’

Even though Sanchez has been in the midst of heavy speculation, his form on the pitch has been a complete revelation. So far, the Chilean has bagged 18 Premier League goals and 8 assists, and is the leading goal scorer for Arsenal.
