Manchester United are looking to grab Inter’s Ivan Perisic. The Croatian winger is valued at £51m by the club.

Jose Mourinho is looking to invest this summer, and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Perisic is one of the priorities. The Red Devils are up against Chelsea for the former Wolfsburg man’s signature. They are reportedly looking to accelerate efforts to beat the Blues to his signature.

Perisic joined Inter Milan in 2015 from Wolfsburg. He has been in excellent form this season, scoring 9 times in the Serie A and assisting thrice.

Inter are expected to be ready to make a deal if they indeed get something close to £51 million. This would free them from the Financial Fair Play sanctions, allowing Suning Group to invest in the club.

Their skipper Mauro Icardi would also demand that kind of interest, but he is deemed too invaluable to the club. If Perisic is sold, Inter would reportedly target Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi and Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi.
