Jose Mourinho is planning audacious swoop for Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.
The Red Devils spent insane cash at the start of the season but are not able to compete for the Premier League title this campaign.
So Mourinho is hoping to add some star players to his squad to help him compete with the best and this has seen him linked with the best in the business recently. And one player who is now extensively linked with a move to Old Trafford is German international Mesut Ozil.

According to reports from the Mirror, Jose Mourinho is desperate for attacking additions and has decided that Mesut Ozil is the perfect option for his side.
The German playmaker has not been in great form off late for Arsenal but he is still one of the most influential players in his position in the league. His contract at the Emirates comes to an end at the end of the next season and he is yet to extend his contract.

The duo worked together in their time at the Bernabeu and Ozil has spoken about his admiration towards Jose Mourinho in his biography.
“He shows no emotion. Just waits for a response from me. How much I hate him right now. And I love Mourinho actually,’ wrote Ozil, in one of his many references to the Portuguese.

Though Arsene Wenger will be reluctant to sell his any top player to Premier League rivals, Manchester United may well be able to lure the 29-year old to the club at the end of the season, given the playmaker has less than 18 months left on his contract.
The report suggests that United are ready to make on offer of around £42.5m which might be too good to turn down for the Gunners.
