Torino’s Andrea Belotti Could Become Jorge Mendes’ Client
There is no denying the fact that Torino’s Andrea Belotti is one of the hottest properties in the footballing market right now, and if various reports are to be believed, Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho wants the 23-year-old to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford.
Belotti, who has scored an impressive 24 Serie A goals in just 28 league outings, is also a reported target of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal, but what makes him moving out of Italy more vulnerable is the fact that he has a €100m (£86.5m) buyout clause that applies to foreign clubs.

And besides that, his manager Sinisa Mihajlovic wants him to stay with the club for as many years as possible.

“Belotti is not a player of this era but if he remains or not depends on many things. He’s happy here – I know that – and would be willing to stay.
“I hope he remains as long as I do but I do not know.”
But to add further spark in the speculation, Spanish newspaper La Stampa suggests that Belotti might soon become a client of super agent Jorge Mendes, who also represents Jose Mourinho and David de Gea. And should anything like this happen, a move to Old Trafford can be broken up.
Furthermore, with Zlatan’s future hanging in the midst of nowhere mainly due to the uncertainty of the Champions League football, United are in a dire need of a striker who can get goals out of where, and this is where Belotti fits the bill for Mourinho.
