Tielemans Set For Ligue 1 Switch

Youri Tielemans is reportedly in advanced talks with Monaco, a move that is set to disappoint a host of Premier League clubs.
Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Manchester United were all looking to sign the wonder-kid, but this news will depress all of them.
Tielemans is positive that joining the Ligue 1 leaders will be the right step to advance his career, reported L’Equipe.

The 19-year old might have drawn encouragement from the progress of Kylian Mbappe and Bernardo Silva at the French club this season. The duo have played first team football extensively this season, helping their side reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League, and stay on top of the Ligue 1 table.
This is a good sign from Tielemans’ point of view, which also decreases the chances of him moving to any of the 4 Premier League clubs.
He will believe he has time for the Premier League, and will want to make a move to the English league after developing into a better player. If so, Monaco seems the most logical step.
He will have a chance to impress United though, when Anderlecht, his club, take on the Red Devils on Thursday night in the Europa League.
Tielemans is only 19, but has already made his mark on Belgian football. He progressed to the Anderlecht senior team when he was only 16. The Belgium international has scored 34 goals for the club already across 168 appearances.
