Liverpool Legend Steven Gerrard Warns Antoine Griezmann
Former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard has warned Antoine Griezmann ahead of his rumoured move to Manchester United.
This is a no-brainer that the 26-year-old French sensation is linked with a move to Old Trafford, and if the reports are to be believed, United are ready to cough up a world record fee to acquire his signature.
A lot has been talked about this story by many footballing experts, and to further add to it, Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has warned Griezmann not to join Manchester United in the coming summer.
“I think he is one of the best players at finding gaps and space and hurting teams in between the lines,” Gerrard told BT Sport.

His BT Sport confrère Rio Ferdinand was then asked what he would advise Griezmann if he was the striker’s agent, to which Gerrard interrupted and said: “Get him as far away from Manchester as you can find!”
Manchester United, on their part, could really miss out on Griezmann should they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The Frenchman’s advisor revealed a few days ago that the Red Devils have shown an interest, but he further added that Griezmann will only be moving a Champions League club.
But the fact that Jose’s team is sitting fifth in the Premier League table – four points behind the fourth-placed Manchester City and six behind the third-placed Liverpool – doesn’t support their cause in acquiring his signature. A tough task lays ahead!
