Manchester United Prepared To Make A £64m Bid For Andrea Belotti
Manchester United have taken the first step to land their top transfer target Andrea Belotti from Torino this summer.
The Red Devils have a mini-drought in terms of attacking for the next season, as the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney, and Juan Mata may all be sold, which is why Jose Mourinho is determined to land more than one attacker at Old Trafford this summer.
United have been linked with some of the biggest stars in Europe, with the likes of Alvaro Morata, Antoine Griezmann, and Romelu Lukaku all on the radar of the Portuguese manager at the moment.
However, reports today suggest that they are a step closer to landing in-form striker Andrea Belotti.
The Italian sensation has scored 25 goals in Serie A for Torino this season, and stands as the most productive player in the domestic league. He is settled in Italy, and is reportedly not looking for an exit, but United are desperate for attacking talents, and are convinced that he is the right man to take them forward next season.
Belotti is currently contracted with the Italian club till 2020, and has a release clause of around £85m. But according to Daily Mail, Manchester United are preparing a £64m bid for his services.
It is also revealed that Belotti wants to play in the Champions League, and is looking for a club that can offer a place in the competition regularly.
But Manchester United have some work to do to qualify for the elite competition, and if they miss out, they might not be able to lure Belotti at any price.
