Manchester City To Fight Manchester United For Neymar’s Services
Manchester City have joined the race for Barcelona star Neymar Jr, to steal him away from Manchester United this summer.
A transfer target for the Red Devils in the last couple of seasons, Neymar is arguably one of the best players in his position in Europe at the moment.
However, his Barcelona side has failed to lift the La Liga title or the UCL title for the first time in the last three years, and it is now understood that he could be on his way out of the club at the end of the season.
Reports from Spain suggest that the Brazilian star’s father, Neymar Sr, wants his son to move away from Barcelona and the La Liga this summer. His father wants Neymar to move out of the shadows of Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou, and is urging him to look elsewhere for regular football.

And to follow up on that story, English news outlet Express have revealed that Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola is looking to capitalise of the situation by moving for Neymar this summer.
The Citizens have managed to qualify for the group stages of the Champions League with a strong finish to the season, and are expected to make wholesale changes to the squad at the Etihad. Therefore, it is understood that Guardiola is ready to make a bid north of £100m for the 25-year-old to try and lure him to England.
Jose Mourinho is also desperate for some attacking talent, and will be looking at the Brazilian star yet again in the transfer window, but they will have to beat Ajax in the Europa League final and qualify for the Champions League to stand a shot at luring Neymar to Old Trafford.
Do you think Pep Guardiola and beat Jose Mourinho by bringing Neymar to Man City?
