Alexandre Lacazette is set to quit Lyon this summer, and the French club has already found his replacement.

Lacazette has been one of the most prolific goalscorers in recent times in Europe, having enjoyed impeccable form for the French outfit in the last couple of seasons. However, the club’s lack of progress has seen him linked with an exit, and reports suggest that he is close to a move to Atletico Madrid.

Liverpool and Arsenal are also keeping tabs on him, as the striker looks completely ready for a summer exit.

However, Lyon seems to have already prepared for their star forward’s exit, as reports from French news outfit RMC Sport suggest that they are all ready to lure Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

The Mexican international is one of the best finishers in the game, and has scored 47 goals for his national side, where he is the first choice striker.

He has been in terrific form for Leverkusen as well, scoring 11 goals in 26 games in the Bundesliga, which is why Lyon are convinced that he is the right man to replace Lacazette this summer.

The 28-year old goal poacher is out of contract at the German outfit at the end of next season, and it is understood that Leverkusen are ready to offload him this summer. Moreover, Lyon are also confident of landing him once the transfer window opens, with a bid around the region of £10.5m.
