Alvaro Morata seems to have become one of the top targets for Premier League giants Manchester United, after their prime target Antoine Griezmann pledged his immediate future to Atletico Madrid.

The Red Devils are also rumoured to have made an unsuccessful £52 million bid for the Spaniard.

However, because of Morata’s recent social media activity, some fans are already believing that it may only be a matter of time before the 23-year-old arrives at Old Trafford.

The striker’s ‘Following’ list on Instagram showed a number of United stars – past and present – being followed by the Spain international. The list included the likes of Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, David Beckham, David de Gea, Ander Herrera, and Paul Pogba, along with some more stars from the club.

There were some supporters, however, who highlighted that Morata had also ‘followed’ a number of Chelsea players on Instagram recently, and that it was proof to nothing.

Nonetheless, United fans also seem to be divided over whether Morata should be the one to lead the attack at the Theatre of Dreams next season.

The Spanish striker has been lethal in front of goal, though, having netted 15 goals in La Liga for Los Blancos in the recently concluded campaign.
