Lazio’s Felipe Anderson Reveals His Dream Club
Current Lazio midfielder and assumed Chelsea target, Felipe Anderson, has been an impressive player for his club in the past couple of seasons, and has hence, been a target for big European names in the transfer windows.
The attacking central midfielder was on the verge of joining Premier League giants Manchester United in 2015, but the deal ultimately collapsed, and nothing ever really happened since.
Anderson was asked about interest from Manchester United on Sport TV (via Metro), where he revealed: “Two years ago, yes. It ends up that the player begins to think a lot about it and the focus goes away a little.
“In the last two years, I leave it with my sister who takes care of my things, with my agents. I’m enjoying my vacation now, I don’t even want to think about it. Of course it’s my career, my future, but I know the work I’ve done, and even what I have to do on vacation, take care of myself.”
Jose Mourinho is currently on the lookout for bringing in the highest quality of talent from around the globe to fight for domestic and major European titles next season, and this Brazilian could very well be one among the selected few on that esteemed list.
The player has represented Lazio on more than a 100 occasions after his move from Santos in 2013.
His move to Manchester United in the future, however, has a high possibility, as Anderson showed his adoration for the Old Trafford side during the interview by stating: “Every player dreams of playing for a team like United.”
