What’s the story?

According to reports coming in from AS, the current best player in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo, is set to be the biggest target of the summer transfer window, as clubs from France, Spain and England look determined to pester Real Madrid in order to possibly dish out a deal for their number 7.

Should the deal take place?

Despite the incoming offers assumed to be in the range of a jaw dropping €180 million for the star man, one cannot imagine him leaving the club where he has won everything there is to win, a second successive Champions League title being the latest.

The names involved in this reported bidding war are the big ones of Monaco, PSG, and former club Manchester United, along with a couple of teams from China. The Portuguese is at Godly status with Los Blancos and leaving them anytime soon will not make any sense.

Possibility of it happening

No higher possibility than 2/10 exists for a possible transfer of the player away from the club that turned him into the legend he is.

2. Kylian Mbappe To Real Madrid

What’s the story?

According to MARCA, Zinedine Zidane is all set to make major changes to his squad over the summer, as Gareth Bale has emerged as a name that will be shown the exit door as a sacrifice to bring in Monaco sensation, Kylian Mbappe.

Should the deal take place?

Gareth Bale has been an exceptional player for Real Madrid since his arrival from England, but has never been able to match or surpass the outstanding Cristiano Ronaldo, in the eyes of the world. The Welshman faced a season to forget which was highlighted by injuries, resulting in him missing out of the starting XI in the Champions League Final, which was played in his hometown in Cardiff. The player might have fallen out of favour in the manager’s eyes, and though he insists on staying, a possible move away from Santiago Bernabeu might do him wonders.

Possibility of it happening

The deal has a little too much going on at the moment, and given the complications surrounding it, a low 4/10 possibility exists of it taking place.

3. Gelson Martins To Manchester United

What’s the story?

As reported by Portuguese outlet O Jogo, The Red Devils have currently joined Liverpool in a to-be-heated race to sign Sporting Lisbon star, Gelson Martins. Mourinho is all set to battle Klopp for the £46.5 million-rated striker after Liverpool cooled off their chase of Mohamed Salah.

Should the deal take place?

The player’s current contract is all set to expire in the coming three weeks, and with Sporting struggling to keep their players due to the absence of Champions League football next season, this might be the perfect chance for the 22-year-old to write his name onto the footballing world, and do so through the biggest stage of them all. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic now released and Wayne Rooney on the verge of an exit, the Manchester club is in desperate need, and putting his hand up could send Martins’ career rocketing towards great heights.

Possibility of it happening

With Victor Lindelof expected to join the Red Devils soon, the striker with 7 goals and 14 assists in 44 appearances last season could well be on the way to the same team with a 6/10 chance in favour of it happening.

4. Diego Costa To AC Milan

What’s the story?

As per reports coming in from the Daily Mirror, Chelsea striker Diego Costa is all set to become AC Milan’s summer signing, as the Italian giants have made the Spaniard their number one target in the upcoming transfer window. The Chelsea forward recently surprised the world, as he publicly revealed that he is no longer a part of Conte’s further plans, and is hence, on the lookout for a new club to play for.

Should the deal take place?

Costa is a man of high talent, and after becoming Champion of England this season, the player would not settle for a club that does not have high matching ambitions. Milan are currently on the rise, and after securing European football for the season to come, their next target is to reel in the quality they once used to boast about.

Possibility of it happening

With the player sure to leave the London club, a high 9/10 chance sees him eventually arriving in Italy.
