Deadly Duo: Mourinho Wants Both Morata And Belotti
Jose Mourinho has a short list of five players he wants at Manchester United, and is close to landing Andrea Belotti and Alvaro Morata as he ticks off his list.
The Red Devils only managed to step into the Champions League in their final game of the season, but that has now given them leverage in luring some of the finest talents in world football to the club this summer.
Mourinho is looking to improve his squad in a number of positions, and has been linked with the biggest names in Europe, and English news outlet Independent now claims that he has a wishlist of five players he wants to sign this summer.
Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata has been on the radar of the English outfit for some time now, and the report claims that United are close to landing him in a £60m deal this summer.
However, the Spanish star will also be accompanied by Italian hitman Andrea Belotti, who has been in sensational form this season in the Serie A, whilst playing for Torino.
United are ready to make a £70m bid for him, which could be enough to land him this summer, provided he wants to leave.
Having completed the signing of Swedish centre-half Victor Lindelof, the other two targets on United’s summer shopping list include AS Monaco’s versatile star Fabinho, and Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic, as Mourinho prepares to take United back to their best next season.
