Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Victor Lindelof from Benfica.

The Portuguese club has confirmed that the fee for the Swede agreed between both the clubs is €35m + €10m bonuses.

Moreover, the personal terms with the defender are yet to be agreed, and the deal is subject to a medical and international clearance.

Manchester United posted a statement on their official website, which read: “Manchester United is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Victor Lindelof, subject to a medical examination, international clearance and personal terms.

“A further announcement will be made once the transfer is complete.”

The 22-year-old is just first of many summer reinforcements, and if reports are to be believed, Alvaro Morata could arrive at Old Trafford as early as next week.
